Loughborough Leggo Youth Group is based at Fearon Hall in Loughborough for young people aged 10-19 years with physical, mild learning and social interaction difficulties.

We deliver a Friday night youth club, providing a programme of structured physical and social activities in which gross and fine motor skills, co-ordination and strength can be developed.

Day trips are organised to encourage the young people to experience new activities which improve their social and communication skills and increase their independence.

We are a child-centred group and regularly consult with members and families on how they wish the group to be run.

This consultation resulted in parents expressing a desire for a parents' forum to be established. We facilitated this group, which meets once every 6 weeks while youth club is running.

This group provides a relaxed, informal social environment where parents can talk about issues openly and gain support from each other.
